The Legacy of
the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy: Forty Years of Seeking Full,
Conscious, and Active Participation.
The
Holy Spirit breathed new life into the Church through the Constitution on
the Sacred Liturgy (CSL). The presentation will seek to unlock the
treasures of the document by re-examining its key concepts and historical
impact on the pastoral and worship life of the church. During the past
forty years the church has moved from liturgical reform to liturgical
refinement. To what extent do post-Vatican II documents and legislation
reflect the original vision of CSL? What are the successes and failures of
liturgical renewal? Why are there calls for a reform of the reform?
How do we keep alive and revitalize the CSL? |
