God’s
great love calls each of us through baptism to share in the divine life
of the Trinity. As disciples we become the fragrance of Christ Jesus to
the world around us as we journey from the cross towards the heart of
our faith. We are called by name, fed by the Eucharist and sent forth
to walk in the shoes of the prophet.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas and the
Southwest Liturgical Conference Board of Directors invite all who minister and
participate in liturgy to experience real southern hospitality during the 43rd
Annual Southwest Liturgical Conference Study Week. The 2005 Study Week will
celebrate the call to Come to the Feast/Ven al Banquete
and spotlight our role as Disciples: Called, Fed and
Sent Forth. Workshops in English and Spanish will feature practical and
theological teachings, with sessions for priests, deacons, and educators. Francis Cardinal Arinze, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the
Discipline of the Sacraments will present the Keynote address and preside at the
Eucharistic liturgy in the historic Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
The 2005 study week will begin on Tuesday evening, January 18 and will end on
Friday, January 21. This new schedule (opening and closing one day earlier) is
planned to allow participants more time to fulfill their weekend commitments.
Come join us as we gather to
study, to pray, to sing and to celebrate our faith together as disciples for the
New Millennium.
