Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Richardson, Texas

The long and rich tradition of the Roman Catholic faith is melded with the current views of liturgical space at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas.  This parish provides a dwelling place for original artwork heightening each person’s sense of mystery, reverence and awe.  A columbarium containing 1,285 niches surrounds a Chartres-form labyrinth in a meditation courtyard.  You will have an opportunity to walk this winding prayer path.  Near the meditation courtyard, between the main sanctuary and the newly built K-8 school, is the Forum - a gathering/meeting area with a coffee bar and fireplace surrounded by smaller meeting rooms.  Parishioners and non-parishioners alike are greeted here with truly generous hospitality.

On Tuesday, January 18, 2005, we will leave the hotel by bus at 1:30 pm, arriving at St. Joseph at approximately 2:00 pm.  The tour is free and a light reception will be provided.  We will return to the hotel at approximately 4:45 pm.
